Engine Mods This engine had some hand finnishing from the factory. It is said to have 328 RWHP.
Other Mods It has competed in Targa Tasmania twice, Duttons, and a couple of other events, it has a roll cage, onboard fire system and Halda.
Condition Excellent, the carpet has some marks I intend to replace it, the paintwork and interior are unmarked, no rust.
History This is the first car designed from day 1 to have the V8engine. Therefore it is not the red car seen in the early articles with the V6 which was origionally red. It did apear in most of the later articles and was the first car sold. It was registered 1st to Giocattolo Motori P/L for testing, demo's and testing by motor magazines. It was sold to Dutton Motors as a wholesaler to demo the car and put in his yard. It competed in the Geelong speed trials and was driven by Win Percy and Alan Jones. It competed in Targa Tasmania 1994, and 1995

Engine Mods Engine is stock. Some mods were made by the previous owners but they have been reversed as they detracted from the drivability and comfort of the vehicle whilst adding little to performance
Other Mods New Exhaust system and new extractors have been hand fabricated. Alternator has been upgraded.
Condition Near perfect inside and out. The car has a few small stone chips around the rear gills. The interior, engine bay, and underside of the car are all very clean. There is no rust. Only has 30,500klm on the clock.
History Purchased from new and garaged in SA. Moved back to Queensland where it changed owners twice in 2 years. The car was involved in a small accident a few years ago and the front panel was cracked and subsequently replaced with a new one.

Other Notes A lot of time has been spent maintaining the car and keeping it in good condition. So far I have resisted doing extensive mods. The car is just so nice to drive and so much fun as it is. However, eventually I suppose everyone wants more and I have ideas for some engine mods, brake upgrade and new wheels.
For Sale Not for a while. I'm enjoying owning it too much.

Colour Metallic "Briggs" Black

Engine Mods The engine has been reworked by a company in Perth. It now idles to fast and has a unnecessarily heavy clutch. I plan to have it stroked and completely rebuilt by COME engineering in Caulfield Victoria.
Other Mods The car is standard in all other respects.
Condition The car has only traveled 9,000 Km's and is in excellent shape.
History This car was built to order by the Brisbane car dealer and Racing Driver John Briggs. It was sold on 20th April 1989. It was subsequently sold to Perth car collector, Peter Briggs (No relation) I have also being told that for a brief period Lindsay Fox had it. I am not sure whether that was before or after Peter Briggs ownership or indeed whether Lindsay owned it or simply had it for a short period of time. I purchased the car from Russ Brown a Toowoomba Car dealer in December 99. Russ had owned it for approximately 2 years. Russ had brought it for himself and his son to use. It had always been garaged. I had been looking to purchase it for over a year as I believed that it was one of if not the best available
Owners John Briggs, Peter Briggs (no relation) Lindsay Fox, Russ Brown, Paul Halstead.
Articles None (to my knowledge) were written on this Car.
Other Notes There were some things that I wanted to do to the original car and would have tried if we had continued production. Rather than talk about them now, I will keep everyone informed as the changes are made and whether they are successful or not.
For Sale Not for sale.
